Before & After Laundry Room: LOADS of Colors

Two boys that play sports, five dogs and three other humans living in this Mountain Brook home produce a lot of laundry!! Perrie already had two sets of washers and dryers, but her hanging was shoved in what use to be a half bath, an auxiliary refrigerator was blocking a window and the original cabinets were no longer meeting her storage needs.

I was given the task of bringing function and fun to this otherwise dark and dank room. I started the design by removing the wall between the Laundry and the former half bath. I added laundry basket storage, hanging space and a dog wash. With the help of Paula Coldiron, who was working part-time with me, Perrieā€™s personality, love for Lily Pulitzer and the color yellow were realized in her new Laundry Room!
